Heavy rain fell on multiple large burn scars Tuesday morning in Southern California leading to flooding and mudslides, The Weather Channel reports. The flooding and mudslides left many roads impassable due to downed trees and power lines. More than 30,000 homes and businesses were without power statewide on Tuesday, 1/9.
Due to the hazardous conditions across California, some service delays of 24 – 48 hours are anticipated for shipments destined to and traveling through the impacted areas.
