Changes to Mailing Services
Under the 2018 USPS Rate Change, Mailing Services product prices have increased by approximately 1.9 percent.
First Class Mail Letters up to 1 oz: price increases from $0.49 to $0.50
Additional ounces remain at $0.21
Metered Letters up to 1 oz: price increases from $0.46 to $0.47
Domestic Postcards: price increases from $0.34 to $0.35
Changes to Shipping Services
Under the 2018 USPS Rate Change, Shipping Services product prices will increase Priority Mail by 3.9 percent and Priority Mail Retail an average of 0.8 percent. As in the past, the Postal Service will not include any surcharges for fuel, residential delivery, or regular Saturday delivery.
Small Flat Rate Box: increases from $7.15 to $7.20
Medium Flat Rate Box: increases from $13.60 to $13.65
Large Flat Rate box: increases from $18.85 to $18.90
APO/FPO Large Flat Rate Box: increases from$17.35 to $17.40
Regular Flat Rate Envelope: increases from $6.65 to $6.70
Legal Flat Rate Envelope: increases from $6.95 to $7.00
Padded Flat Rate Envelope: increases from $7.20 to $7.25
